With an ingrained desire for self-development and improvement, Mr Rakometsi is no stranger to hard work. Having a goal and a dream is one thing, really working to achieve that dream in the face of adversity, is something else.

During 2019 four great minds converged over a heaty meal to give life to a shared vision
and passion. Titan Reins was born. With a combined industry experience of more than 53 years, working across EMEA, this partnership is a recipe for success. After the initial start-up, Company operations officially commenced in July 2022.

As the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Titan Reins, Mr Rakometsi’s, industry experience is vast. Building on a manufacturing background, he grew his skills set during his time at Oracle. Since 2009, work related activity progressed from building engineering (tasked as Technical Manager),
to evolve to Real Estate & Facilities Project Management.

Business operations covered the Sub-Saharan region. Such a huge responsibility required innovative working capabilities. With a workforce spread across different continents, Mr Rakometsi quickly mastered the art of successfully juggling both remote and conventional business practices.

On a broader level, Mr Rakometsi brings an all-encompassing educational portfolio to
the table. Aiming to keep abreast of an ever- evolving business world, it fostered a ceaseless yearning for refinement in this gentleman.

To the world as we know it, property management is essentially not a new concept. The business model of Titan Reins though, is new and different, offering a consultant base service to tenant, aiming to allow best practices related to service delivery to resonate down to the tenants.

Pre-covid saw a lot of property managers having a consistent flow of business. With a steady flow of tenants, operating procedures were fairly standard. Covid changed the world as we knew it. Our whole way of being changed, not only on a personal level, but also in the business world.

Tenant turn-over increased excessively as the economic impact of the pandemic was felt world-wide. And in stepped Titan Reins. The company offers occupier services to the tenants, both from an architectural and project management perspective.

Companies are living, breathing entities, forever changing and adapting. Having a set rental system would therefore not make logical sense. Titan Reins factors in all aspects of a business when negotiating the best rental model for their tenants. These include but are not limited to financial, physical and human resources.

As a company evolves and changes with amended priorities and needs, so do they aim to negotiate accordingly. This is not a once off system, but an ever-growing system.

What transpires from this is a combined collective partnership between all three role players
– property managers, tenants and Titan Reins. With a more consistent tenant base, property managers are pleased and more open to a flexible rental system. And being spared the burden of undue escalations and fee increases, tenants can work to grow their core line of service, fostering a better sense of security amongst all related business individuals.
